We are going to Louisville, Kentucky! The National Fraternal Order of Police will conduct its 58th National Conference and Exposition. We will be demonstrating our kIDcardID system to officers from across the nation.

- kIDcardID vs. Passbooks & Disks -

There are several types of child identification kits available to law enforcement.

Most involve a passbook/passport style booklet with a Polaroid picture, or computer floppy disk. These kits can also include vital stats, fingerprints, DNA (hair sample), and dental information.

There are significant disadvantages with Disk and PassBook "kits".

These "kits" are designed to be kept at home.
They are not there when and where your child goes missing.
- Do you really want to run home and search your closet or file cabinet for your child's ID kit while he or she is out there missing?

kIDcard fits in your wallet, with your driver's license, and credit cards.
k
IDcard
is there with you when and where you need it!
- at the beach, at the mall, on vacation...
A kIDcard ID is constantly there as a reminder to always be alert regarding your child's safety.

kIDcard is intended to aid in a quick response, including instructions detailing how to respond quickly, intelligently, and appropriately.
Passbooks and Disks are primarily useful for forensic identification.
- long after the worst has happenned.

Your agency may choose to save the data collected by kIDcard and use it to quickly distribute a photo and vital information to patrol cars and to other agencies, in the event a child goes missing.

Each kIDcard ID costs around 55 cents.
- about the same price as a single floppy disk
- less than the cost of a Polaroid
- less than most passbook kits, even those without a photo or laminate.
